Wetherby Velo Cycling Club is all about exploring the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, stopping at the finest coffee houses, and ending our rides with a well-deserved beer back in Wetherby.
Whether you're relatively new to road cycling or an experienced rider, there's a place for you in our club.

Saturday Cafe Social 9:00am
Tuesday Tempo Group 6:30pm
Tranquil Thursday Group 9:30am
Thursday TT League 6:30pm
Saturday Social Ride
The cornerstone to our weekly riding, meeting at Mews Bar on Bank Street at 9am for a 50-60 mile group ride at 16-17 mph average speed stopping for coffee and fine fodder along the way. Usually back in Wetherby for 1:00pm.
Tempo Tuesday Ride
Not quite a chaingang but a training group ride at 20 mph average speed, leaving Mews Bar on Bank Street at 6:30pm for a 30 mile loop followed by a well earned beer back in Wetherby.
Tranquil Thursday Ride
A great social ride out to a cafe for coffee, leaving Mews Bar at 9:30am for a 40-50 mile group ride at 16-17 mph average speed. For those who can make a mid-week ride

We are British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials affiliated so offer options to race and also offer access to the local Thursday TT League run with other local clubs.
Type 2 fun on Thursday evenings from May
through to August.
Compete on a regular road bike or a TT rig !
We are passionate about the social side of the club with post ride beers and regular curry nights
